Clarke Energy is eligible to apply for a grant of up to £1000 towards workplace health initiatives and we have been asking employees how they might want us to spend that money. The initiative is ran through ‘Working Well’, a government funded programme which is part of Knowsley Council and focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of Knowsley based employees.
The grant must be used to support staff in improving their health through healthy lifestyle choices, including: -
- Increasing physical activity
- Improving healthy eating
- Improving mental wellbeing
Many ideas have been sent through already including; the installation of extra showers, the installation of gym equipment on site and a lunch time boot camp to name but a few!
The closing date for ideas is the 6th December. An application for the grant will then be made using the best idea.
‘Working Well’ have a number of initiatives that Clarke Energy can use and we hope to announce these in due course.
