Clarke Energy has recently appointed two apprentices within the Service Department. Jamie Constable and Matthew Fitzsimons have since started at College with a view to undertaking a BTECH National Certificate in Operations and Maintenance Engineering and an NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering in Fitting and Assembly.
Jamie Constable, who is studying at Kingston College, Kingston explains why he wanted to join us:
I wanted to join Clarke Energy as I have a great interest in energy production and engineering and this apprenticeship provided a great opportunity to combine my two interests. I have just started the BTECH at College which I am really enjoying. Once I have done my first year in College, I will then be able to work on site with the Field Service Engineers and put my course into practise. I will then start the NVQ Level 3 as it assesses my performance at the workplace.
