I joined Clarke Energy in January 2014 to work in the Fleet department on a temporary basis for 4 months. I had never worked within a fleet role although I had worked in the bus industry for 5 and half years, this was still very new to me. The Fleet Manager was so helpful and made me feel so welcome to the company. I picked up the role and loved it and was surprised how helpful and friendly everyone in the company was, especially after having a bad experience in my previous employment. It was so refreshing to work in a happy and relaxed environment and made me want to have a career with a company like Clarke Energy.
A vacancy for a Learning and Development Coordinator became available within the company and I had some previous experience with coordinating training so I applied, interviewed and was pleased to be given the role.
I have now been in my role since June and I am enjoying the change of pace and being within the HR department. My previous experience includes administration and marketing which I feel can bring organisational skills and creativity to the role.
I look forward to progressing both personally and within my role and making a difference at Clarke Energy.
